Taru Goel
 

Taru Goel is an ecommerce executive with a startup background in the NYC area. He has recently lead product management, strategy and innovation roles at Amazon, MediaRadar and Pitney Bowes. Previously, Taru assisted with corporate turn-around efforts as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Hudson Ventures. He was an entrepreneur in the fintech space, having joined the founding team of PaylinX where he managed the product engineering efforts and oversaw its sale to CyberSource (acquired by Visa) for over $130MM. In addition, he co-founded XLNce Software, a Mumbai based software services company, and managed a joint venture with Mercantile Bank (acquired by US Bank) and DigiCash to pioneer and launch eCash, the first FDIC-backed digital currency. Taru has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and has served as an Advisor to several companies including Everbank (acquired by TIAA Bank), Statement One (acquired by BNY Mellon), and Opti-Port. He has been a speaker on entrepreneurship and fintech including at NYU, UCLA and Comdex.
